Tropical Pops

The weather has been insane of late, raining one day and sunny the other. Prompted by my sister, we decided to make these Tropical Pops for a hot day. We were lucky as we made them last night and it was insanely hot this afternoon.. these came in real handy!

There's really good to eat, not just ice but frozen fruits. Delectable! (: They're really easy to make and you can even make them with your little ones! Lesser sweet ice-creams and more fresh fruits! These took me about 15 minutes to make and I'd rate them a difficulty level 2 out of 5.

Tropical Pop Recipe

This recipe yields 10 pops based on my moulds I got from Daiso

2 slices of watermelon
*if your watermelon aren't sweet, add in 1 tsp of honey when blending
5 strawberries

2 kiwis
1 handful of blueberries
1 mango
3 strawberries

Method

Slice/cube up the fruits.

Pop in your fruits. This is my preferred order. Kiwis.

Strawberries.

Mangoes.

Blueberries.

Cube up the 2 slices of watermelon and remove leaves from 5 strawberries. Blend till mixture is smooth.

Sieve mixture. This is the residue I had left. Edible on it's own! (:

The juice we want for the popsicles.

Pour juice into moulds, leaving about 1cm from top of the mould. Pop on the popsicle stick, taping it down with sticky tape temporarily if need be.

Alternative pops we made!

Sealed! Freeze overnight for best result.

To remove/release from mould, dip moulds into a bowl of warm water to loosen the sides. Alternatively, rub the sides of the mould to warm it up and allow popsicle to slide out when melted.

Enjoy your Tropical Pops as much as we did! (:
